Independent opinion of value

A Spur Auto appraisal is an independent opinion of vehicle value based on the assignment, information supplied, market data reasonably available, stated assumptions, and effective date shown in the report. Vehicle markets change, listings may be removed or repriced, and reasonable appraisers may reach different conclusions. An appraisal is not a promise that an insurer, appraiser, umpire, lender, court, or other party will accept the concluded value.

No public-adjuster or representative relationship

Spur Auto is an independent vehicle appraisal firm, not a public insurance adjuster. When Guided Document Support is purchased, we provide negotiation support and guidance by explaining appraisal findings, reviewing written insurer responses, and helping prepare draft correspondence throughout negotiations. We do not contact or negotiate with an insurer on a customer's behalf, settle a claim, make claim or coverage decisions, or act as the customer's representative. The customer decides what position to take, approves the content, and sends every communication.

No legal, tax, financial, or coverage advice

Spur Auto is not a law firm, and no attorney-client relationship is created by the website or our services. We do not guarantee that an insurer will increase an offer, accept a comparable, change a condition adjustment, invoke or participate in appraisal, or pay any particular amount. The money-back guarantee described in our Terms concerns whether our completed appraisal supports a value above the insurer offer provided to us; it does not guarantee a settlement increase or recovery.

Any case result, example, testimonial, statistic, or scenario describes a particular matter or illustrates how an appraisal may be used. Past results do not predict or guarantee future outcomes. Results depend on the vehicle, market, policy language, evidence, insurer, claim history, timing, applicable law, and decisions made by the customer and other parties.
